AMUCT Convention on Higher Education will be held on June 30, 2013 at St Aloysius College, mangalore and Sri U T Khader, the Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Karnataka will be the Chief Guest of the Programme. He will also release AMUCT Bulletin on the occasion Dr. Bhagyalakshmi, Director, Dept. Collegiate Education, Dr Devananda R Gaonkar, Joint Director, Mangalore Region, Collegiate Education , Sri C.H. Murigendrappa, President FUCTAK, Sri K.M. Nagaraj, General Secretary, FUCTAK, Sri T. M. Manjunath, President, KGCTA, Sri Bhagyavana Mudigoudra, Gen.Secretar, KGCTA will be the guests of honour. The programme will be presided over by Rev. Fr. Swebert D'Silva, Principal, St Aloysius College, Mangalore
The Programme involves the debate on issues on higher education at present scenario followed by felicitation to retired teachers, Ph D Awardees and achievers. After the Lunch Break there will be Business Session as per Agenda.
