Dr Shubhakarachary, Assistant Professor, Bhandarkar's College, Kundapura has been awarded Ph D on his topic 'Transition of Kammara Community' with special reference to Mangalore and Udupi Districtsnand Kollegal Taluk of Chamarajanagara Districts.
The Tribal Department of Kannada university at Hampi awarded this degree to him on December 23, 2010
