The newly inducted ministers into Siddaramaiah's ministry have been given portfolios and  R.V. Deshpande will be the new Higher Education Minister as per the sources. Sixty six year old Mr Deshpande won the 2013 Karnataka Legislative Election from Haliyal (Uttara Kannada) constituency.

A seven-term MLA, Deshpande started his political career in the Janata Parivar before shifting to the Congress in 1999. He served as industries minister for 10 years between 1994-2004.

Ref: Required backup subjects (failed subjects) from IVth Semester (2nd year) to get admission to Vth Semester (3rd year) in Diploma in Electrical and communication .

My son completed 2nd year diploma in Electrical and communication. He will join 3rd year next week. But DTE - Department of Technical Education, Karnataka is issued circular 4 backup subjects students only eligible to Vth Semester classes. We required minimum 10 back subjects for eligibility otherwise students waste one year.

Please look into the matter and make 10 backup subjects for eligible to Vth Semester.
