Dr Charles V. Furtado, Associate Professor of English, St Aloysius Evening College, Mangalore, was elected President of the AET for the next two years. Mr Devaraje Gowda, Government First Grade College, Virajpet, was elected Vice President while Mr T.P. Baburaj, S.M.S. College, Brahmavar, Mrs Shanthi Roche, Canara College, Mangalore and Dr Sandhya R. Nambiar, M.G.M. College, Udupi, were elected Secretary, Treasurer and Joint Secretary respectively.
