Sri S Hayavadana Upadhya, Associate Professor of English at Bhandarkar's College, Kundapura has been awarded Ph D Degree. The topic of his doctoral thesis was 'The Concept of Ananda- AStudy'
He completed his Ph D research work under the guidance of Dr G.N.Bhat, Director of Inter-Disciplinary Centre at Canara College, Manalore
Sri Hayavdana Upadhya was the President of AMUCT in 2004-06 and the Secretary in 2001-2004.
