Dr D.R. Panduranga,(64) Retired teacher of M.G.M College Udupi and the former Editor of Amuct Bulletin expired due to cardiac arrest at his native place Devanur on August 12, 2014
He was the head of the Dept of Kannada, MGM college Udupi and was active in teachers movement. He was a scholar in Gamaka Art form and popularised this art in coastal Karnataka during his stay here.
