Mr. Lakshminarayana Bhat A presently working in Besant Evening College and Besant Women’s College as associate professor of Economics is awarded the degree of Ph.D by Kuvempu University for his thesis ‘Information and Communication Technology and Banking Development – A District Level Study’. The thesis is prepared under the guidance of Dr. B. Jayarama Bhat of the Department of Studies and Research in Economics of Kuvempu University. Mr. Lakshminarayana Bhat A had his M.A. Economics from Mangalore University with second rank. He is an Alumnae of S.D.M. College Ujire and Ganapathi Pre University College Mangalore. He is the present General Secretary of the Association of Mangalore University and College Teachers (AMUCT).
