A SENSE OF JOY AND FULFILLMENT
“Action is the foundational key to all success” - Pablo Picasso
Dear Amuct Members and Well wishers
With a sense of joy and fulfillment I am sending this dispatch. Amuct which believes in setting standards for itself has its distinctive credentials of having its own premises in the heart of Mangalore, a bulletin published continuously for the last 23 years and an informative website since February 4, 2012. Through these initiatives and actions Amuct has been a trend setter in teachers’ movement and thus has created a niche for itself. The Office Bearers with the constant guidance of its Managing Council Members have been making earnest efforts to raise its standards and secure for the members of the Association their rightful status- social, economic and professional and provide them with a forum for the expression of their views both on matters of academic interest and on matters pertaining to their welfare. The website which is the best medium to communicate has been facilitating faster dissemination of useful information and provides a platform for members to keep in touch with the recent happenings in the field of higher education.
If you can’t make it good, at least make it look good said Bill Gates. Ever since we launched the website we have been reflecting as to how to make the website more useful to the members. The result is a new looking, user friendly and comprehensively redesigned website which is being re-launched today (April 22, 2013). I wish and hope that all our members will make use of this opportunity by contributing their articles related to higher education, sending information about the members and sharing any useful documents / orders for publication.
The desire to have a redesigned website is possible because of the dedication of Dr Denis Fernandes, the Editor of the website and my friend Mr Vincent Mascarenhas of eCreators. I congratulate both of them for their creativity and thank them profusely for their relentless efforts in re- launching the website as per our needs with a new manifestation.
Long Live AMUCT
Long live Teachers Movement
