The Finance Department of Karnataka Government ordered to release eight percent Dearness Allowance for the teaching staff who are on 2006 UGC scales of pay from the existing 72% to 80% of the basic pay with effect from January 1, 2013. The increase in DA under this order is payable in cash until further orders.
