AMUCT delegation led by Dr Norbert Lobo, President, AMUCT , welcomed the new Joint Director, Sri H K Shivamurthy Gowda at his Office in Mangaluru. AMUCT promised full support on his good work. the Joint Director also promised that he will work for the welfare of the teachers. The other members of AMUCT delegation were Dr Lakshminarayan Bhat, General Secretary, Dr Ummappa Poojary former President, Sri Charles Pais, treasurer and Dr Denis Fernandes, Editor of AMUCT Bulletin and Website.
Sri H K Shivamurthy Gowda is a native of Chitradurga born on June 1, 1956. He did his Msc in Marine Geology at Mangalagangotri and joined the teaching profession in the Government College in 1982. From 2006 onwards he is the Grade I Principal at Governement College Kudligi. He has served as syndicate member and member of Academic Council at Bellari. At present he is appointed as the Joint Director of Collegiate Education in the Regional office at Mangaluru.
