To prepare for the AMUCT AGM the fifth meeting of AMUCT Managing council was held on July 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. at AMUCT office. The meeting finalised the list of people to be honoured during the Annual General body meeting on July 12, 2015. The meeting also condemned too much interference of official circle in academic matters. The meeting also passed resolution to demand for restriction of student strength 40 per class and only students of aided batches to be allotted to aided teachers to teach and evaluated their answer scripts. It also demanded for having separate teachers to look into co -curricular and extra -curricular activities of the students.
The members observed a minutes silence on the sad demise of Sri C N Madyastha, former Principal of Vijaya College, Mulki.
The President Dr Norbert Lobo welcomed the members and gave a brief introduction on the activities of the association in the past two months. Dr Lakshminarayana Bhat, General secretary of AMUCT , read the minutes and proposed vote of thanks.
